ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester police say a woman is in critical condition after being injured in a hit-and-run Monday night.
Officers received the call just after 11:30 p.m. and responded to the scene on South Union Street, near Howell Street. When they arrived, they say they found a 47-year-old Henrietta woman with life-threatening injuries.
The driver, according to police, left the scene. Investigators could only say the vehicle is a sedan.
The victim was taken to a local hospital where she is listed in critical condition. Her name has not been released.
Police are asking anyone who may have information about the incident to call 911.
