Parole is denied a second time for the man who raped and killed a 12-year-old Binghamton girl more than three decades ago.

James Wales Sr. is serving more than 33 years to life in prison for the 1984 attack of Cheri Lindsey. The victim's mother and father, a retired Binghamton Police Sergeant, have made it their mission to keep Wales behind bars.

Wales' next Board of Parole interview is scheduled for March 2021.
