The Chili Center community came together to reject racism on Saturday.

Residents, local churches, and more gathered together at the former Chili Town Hall to stand against racism.

An organizer says she wanted to bring people together and have positive conversations.

She says conversations like these help the community grow.

"If we can talk about it, we can bring healing. We can move a nation in a place where it ought to be, which is liberty and freedom for all," said organizer Gwen Clifton.

The event featured speakers like the town supervisor, a documentarian, and more.
