OHIO — Our brutal heatwave continues with areas across the state under at least a Heat Advisory, if not an Extreme Heat Warning.

What You Need To Know

  • Prepare for intense heat the next few days

  • Highs will be in the 90s with head indices near or topping 100

  • Find ways to keep cool and stay hydrated

Highs each day climb well into the 90s, with heat indices topping 100 degrees across most of the state.

Stay hydrated and avoid extended time outdoors, especially during the afternoon if possible.

Dewpoints remain high, and we'll continue to feel this brutal heat and humidity statewide through Tuesday. Southern Ohio remains under a Heat Advisory through Wednesday.

A few showers may cool things off slightly starting Wednesday as high pressure starts to erode, but we'll keep above average temperatures in the forecast through next weekend.
