After a hot and humid day across much of the state, expect scattered strong-to-severe thunderstorms to impact northwestern Wisconsin. Some storms Tuesday evening will be capable of producing damaging wind gusts and heavy rain, which may lead to some localized flooding.
Elsewhere, temperatures will drop into the 60s and low 70s under a mainly clear to partly cloudy sky.
Strong-to-severe thunderstorms are possible for more of the state on Wednesday. The best chance for severe thunderstorms will be from about 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. in southern and eastern Wisconsin. All weather hazards are possible, with damaging wind gusts as the primary threat, but an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out. Make sure to plan ahead and have multiple ways to receive weather alerts.
