Well above average temperatures remain in place around the region. Overall, the warm weather sticks with us for another 6 days or so, but I do the the potential for cooler temperatures on the horizon...about a week away.

Some scattered mountain storms are possible over the next few days with rain chances outside of the mountains much more limited. However, there will be some scattered storms Monday as another weak front drops in from the north. Another front later Friday could bring some additional scattered storms, and it is that late-week front that will usher in some much cooler temperatures for next weekend.

Tropics are settling down. Lorenzo is way out in the Atlantic and will impact the Azores mid-week and then Europe as a non-tropical low late next week. No US threats are on the board.
