Many New Yorkers are prepping for the New York Road Runners Percy Sutton Harlem 5K this month.

Around 5,000 runners are expected to pound the pavement on Aug. 10.

The race puts a spotlight on the Road Runners year-round impact on Harlem.

Ted Metellus, NYRR senior vice president of events and TCS New York City marathon race director, and Tania Kinsella, NYPD first deputy commissioner, joined “The Rush Hour” on Friday to discuss the race.

Kinsella will also be participating in the race.
