LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Fans will soon be able to fill the seats in the brand new Louisville City FC soccer stadium currently under construction in Butchertown. On Tuesday, LouCity released a seat map and pricing for the 2020 season, allowing soccer fans to consider exactly which seats they will hope to fill.

“Having a stadium built for soccer will allow fans to be right next to the action on the field,” Louisville City coach John Hackworth said. “The atmosphere in the new stadium should be incredible because of how close every seat is to the actual pitch.”

The stadium will offer a range of seating options and prices. LouCity reports that over 40 percent of season ticket options will sell for less than $20 per game. A significant portion of these tickets will include ‘supporter zone’ areas on opposite ends of the field. The ticketed Butchertown and Waterfront Supporter Zones will replace seats with safe-standing rails. Most side-line season tickets will run from $22 to $65 per game. Additionally, the stadium includes other amenities and luxury experiences such as 18 suites.

“We spent many hours studying similar venues and their pricing plans, but what we kept coming back to was we wanted to make sure we didn’t exclude any of our fans due to price,” LouCity FC President Brad Estes said.

LouCity is also offering the chance to see the view from each seat in the stadium through a virtual tour on their website in hopes of helping fans decide which seats they might like best.

“Seat selection for current Season Ticket Members begins on July 29 with Louisville City’s longest-tenured season ticket holder,” said Dave Walkovic, Ticket Operations Manager. “Each Season Ticket Member will be sent an appointment date and time for the selection of their seats for 2020.”
