Queens Assemblyman Zohran Mamdani was officially declared the Democratic nominee

Mamdani will face Curtis Sliwa — the Republican candidate — as well as incumbent Mayor Eric Adams, former Gov. Andrew Cuomo and former assistant U.S. attorney Jim Walden, all three of whom are running as independents.
