NJ Transit service at the Port Authority Bus Terminal has resumed after a three-bus crash temporarily suspended operations Wednesday morning.

The collision happened around 6:15 a.m., shutting down the express bus lane ramp at the Midtown Manhattan terminal.

By 10 a.m., the ramp had reopened, and NJ Transit service into and out of the terminal had resumed with delays, the agency said.

NJ Transit initially said the bus terminal shut down after the crash, but the Port Authority later said it had remained open, with only NJ Transit service suspended.

Officials said 12 people suffered minor injuries in the crash, and one person was transported to a hospital for further evaluation.

An investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
