The MTA plans to crack down on vandalism of biometric timekeeping devices by installing more security cameras near the clocks.
Three clocks were damaged last week, and a total of nine have been vandalized in the last seven months.
This clock at the Long Island Rail Road Forest Hills Station was recently smashed.
The clocks have been installed to prevent overtime abuse by workers.
In another incident, the cable was cut on a clock at another Long Island Rail Road facility.
Earlier this year, a report found that 85 workers made more than $100,000 each in overtime in 2018.
