Clint Henderson, managing editor at The Points Guy, joined “Mornings On 1” Wednesday as Real ID requirements officially went into effect at airports nationwide.

The mandate, which was first proposed after the 9/11 attacks, faced years of delays but is now required for domestic flights.

Henderson also addressed the growing number of delays and cancellations at Newark Airport this week, tied to an ongoing shortage of air traffic controllers.
