The ongoing Writers Guild of America strike, which began in May and saw actors joining last month, continues to have major ramifications on New York City's entertainment landscape.

Pat Swinney Kaufman, the recently appointed commissioner of the Office of Media and Entertainment, joined NY1's Pat Kiernan and Jamie Stelter on "Mornings On 1" Thursday to discuss the strike's impact on the city's economic development.
