LANCASTER, Ohio — A man in Lancaster received a big pay day after winning the top prize on a VIP Millions scratch off ticket, according to an Ohio Lottery press release.
He won the million dollar top prize. However, he chose the cash prize, which cut the winnings down to $500,000. Taxes dropped that a bit further, netting the winner a total of $360,000.
“VIP Millions is a $50 Scratch-Off with a top prize of $40,000 a year for 25 years,” the release reads. “There are 31 top prizes remaining in the game.”
He purchased the ticket at Stakely’s Watson, at 1510 Sheridan Dr. in Lancaster.
