FAIRPORT, N.Y. — The Fairport Music Festival gets underway on Friday. The event is making a comeback in its original form for 2021.

Organizers say the festival is being held in person and runs from 5-10 p.m. on Friday and 11:30 a.m.-10 p.m. on Saturday.

In addition to live music, the festival includes family-friendly activities, food trucks and more. The event also raises money for the Golisano Children's Hospital and has raised $1,786,000 since 2005.

Last year's event was held virtually because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
