May is Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, and Florida is home to more than half a million Asian Americans.

The metros with the highest number of APA citizens in Florida are Miami, Orlando, and Tampa.

Politically, more than 2% of all voters identify as Asian/Pacific Islander on their voter registration.

In a world where political divisiveness drives conversations and narratives, how do APA’s take their voices heard and considered? Who are the leaders? What are the challenges? Do stereotypical profiles and racism overall still play a part in the APA experience in Florida and the United States?
