WORCESTER, Mass. - It's been an active February. We've seen several inches of snow in the last couple of weeks and now a local hardware store is getting ready for more winter weather this weekend.

Jerry's Hardware in Worcester said business has been good so far.

Unlike some other stores, owner Tom Pechinis said they haven't had an issue with supply shortages.

Nearby stores are reporting a shortage of ice melt products.

"But I’ve been getting it, we haven't run out yet” said Pechinis. “Sometimes 3 or 4 times a day we get a truck in, so we're really lucky. I have really good supplies, and we buy that locally.  We get them from Sterling, there’s Rafferty Aluminum we get it from and a landscape supply get it from. They’re really good to us.”

Pechinis said rock salt, shovels and sleds are some of the most popular items this winter.
