ST. LOUIS— A two-day boil order has been lifted for a large portion of North St. Louis County after a water main break occurred around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday morning on Dunn Road near Hazelrest Drive.

Normal water use may now be resumed.

Water samples tested from the affected area confirm that the water meets all federal and state regulatory standards for drinking water.

Although the boil order has been lifted, it's important to remember that during an order, any water to be used for drinking or cooking should be brought to a rolling boil for three minutes. Water is OK for bathing, washing, and other non-consumable uses.
