This weekend, Pride is being celebrated in Buffalo. That includes a parade and festival Sunday, June 2.
The parade begins on Elmwood Avenue at Forest Avenue and continues south down Elmwood for two miles, concluding at Allen Street.
Step-off for the parade is at 11 a.m. This year’s theme is "Now’s the time."
The city of Buffalo has announced a number of road closures due to the parade route.
The festival begins at 1 p.m. and will go to 7 p.m. at Canalside. Tickets are $15. The event will feature entertainment by Monét X Change, Jason Kendig, DJ Brei, DJ Deb, an appearance by Ashley Darby of "The Real Housewives of Potomac," local performers, vendors, food, drinks and more.
