WORCESTER, Mass. - The Worcester Railers are hosting Adirondack Saturday night at the DCU Center for their St. Patrick's Day game, and the railers will be wearing special jerseys.

The jerseys will be auctioned off, with the proceeds benefitting the Be Like Brit Foundation. The auction started online Friday afternoon and will close about halfway through the second period on Saturday. Visit here to bid on the jerseys.

Saturday's game is huge for the Railers, with Worcester in fourth place in the North division. They're holding onto the final playoff spot, but there are five teams battling for the final two spots, all within striking distance.

Worcester will play as though all their remaining games are playoff games.

"It's just a great opportunity to play meaningful hockey this time of year," assistant captain Jack Quinlivan said. "There's a lot of teams in the mix and we're playing all of them, so we kind of control our own destiny and our own fate, which is a great opportunity and exciting."
