District Attorney Joseph Early, Jr.'s office is investigating two unattended deaths in the central Massachusetts town of Shrewsbury.
At a press conference at the police department Friday evening, Early said police responded to a 911 call at a Lady Slipper Drive address. A 49-year-old woman was rushed to the hospital where she was pronounced dead. Police then found the woman's 12-year-old daughter dead at the home.
Early said it's likely the woman's husband called 911, and said neither he nor the family's son is considered a suspect.
Investigators are waiting on autopsy reports for both the mother and the daughter before making a determination about how they died.
