Two words seem to be the 21st century buzzwords for cities and towns across Florida: “historic downtown.”
Local communities are pouring substantial amounts of money into revitalizing their downtown areas to help make them a destination, not only for residents, but also for people who live beyond those city limits.
For smaller cities across the region is there a financial commitment to revitalization efforts to stay relevant in the 21st century? And for those cities who have already done a downtown rehab, what have the results been?
