TONAWANDA, N.Y. -- A Lockport man is now charged with trying to rob a credit union in the city of Tonawanda.
Police say 31-year-old Ian Powers handed a note to a teller, demanding money at the Tonawanda Community Credit Union on Delaware Street.
Investigators say he got impatient with the teller and left in a green SUV Monday.
Officers were able to track him down at his home on Cave Street.
Powers is being held on $25,000 bail.
